The Rath-Anhoven industrial park is located in the south-eastern part of the Wegberg city limits, directly on the B 57 highway. Its proximity to the cities of Mönchengladbach and Erkelenz means that it is excellently connected to the national freeway network (A 46, A 52 and A 61). In addition to the original settlements from the automobile industry, in recent years skilled trades and manufacturing companies have settled there, which maintain their business relations throughout Europe. Information about Wegberg
Wegberg distinguishes itself by various cultural aspects and a beautiful landscape.
The industrial zone is located on former British airbase occupying ca. 520 ha. Small or middle sized enterprises appreciate the progressive region benefiting from the well structured university and research network. One of the first settlements has been a railway certification centre by Siemens AG transportation department. July 2005 Denso an automotive supplier has been convinced to establish a new research centre for components and systems of diesel engines.
